Spent a lot of time lately trying to get the Tx side of things going. I can get power out to the dummy load, but that's about it. I'm not having much luck suppressing the carrier and to that end I replaced the diodes in the mixer. This time I matched the diodes really carefully, but it appears to not have made much difference if any. About the only thing to look at next would be the toroids in case I've reversed a winding. However the Rx works fine and a signal is going out on Tx. So I don't really think I've made an error there. But, what do I know. Who knows maybe it will work just not efficiently and perhaps that is what I'm now seeing. Not much else to check on that board anyways. I'm using a double balanced diode mixer and there are not much in the way of parts to go wrong. I think I'll have a beer first.
